Connor Bills

Mr. Bills’s practice focuses on a wide range of private equity matters across industrial, office, residential and retail sectors. His experience includes representing property owners, developers, operators, investment managers, and institutional investors in structuring joint ventures, partnerships, private equity funds, real estate syndications, and tax-deferred exchanges in connection with the acquisition, development, financing, construction, leasing, management, and disposition of real estate projects across the United States. He specializes in negotiating and drafting operating agreements, limited partnership agreements, and documenting equity investments in real estate, including private placements.

Mr. Bills frequently advises clients on tax issues associated with real estate and other corporate transactions, including qualified opportunity fund investments, complex like-kind exchanges under Section 1031 of the Code, and mergers and acquisitions of flow-through entities, affordable housing/low income housing tax credits, and other investment funds.

Mr. Bills earned his J.D. at the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law and an LL.M. in Taxation at the University of California, Irvine School of Law. He holds a Bachelors in Accounting from Utah Valley University.
